Weather wonders

Today was a real mix of weather. Just after lunch a neighbour called and directed our attention to the sky north of us:





A few minutes after the tornado passed we saw this:







I don't know what this was was, but it's sort of patio umbrella size and, upon magnifying the picture, it has a very floral patter on it. The sky was thick with debris, but it's hard to see in this picture.

Toward the end of the day our view out the same windows was this:

Holy Moses! That is some impressive weather. By the way, double rainbows are very rare. They only happen at certain times of the day under very special weather circumstances. I have only been lucky enough to see one and that was only because Mikey insisted we sit outside and wait for the ice cream man after a big storm (not as big as yours!!!) passed by.
