What is Will's very favorite Halloween party activity? Will most enjoys trying to round up plastic bugs with a strawberry huller. He loved it so much that his mucho nice teacher said she would keep the "feed the ghost some bugs" activity around for another day or two. She's a smarty pants teacher who knows that, while Will loves directing those bugs around with the huller, it is sooo good for his fine motor skills. :)
If you can't recognize who Will is dressed up as, it's Mater, from the movie CARS. Will just could not be convinced to be anything else. Who's gonna argue with Will in the Target aisle? Not me, I just tried some "gentle suggestions" so he was fully informed, but once he spotted Mater, there were no other choices. Here's Will with the huller, ready to pounce on an unsuspecting plastic spider. The funny thing is, he was very cool with the creepy plastic bugs while they were on the table, but as soon as one fell on the floor Will backed away and "Oh no! Oh no'ed" like they were going to come to life and crawl away.

With one of the lovely classroom aides, who had just hepled Will make a lollipop ghost. Right about now Will is wondering what else he can permanent marker orange. Trust me, I know the look.
I don't know if Will is going to trick or treat yet. We'll have to see how he feels at nightfall on Friday. Last year he was OK with just the wagon ride around. Will doesn't associate all the hard candy, Sweet tarts, Smarties or chips with food, so he is still trying to understand the treat-in-the-bag deal at strange doorsteps.

He is an adorable Mater....and I knew right off who he was. :)
