Last evening Mark flew to Paris for the second half of his INSEAD course. He then travelled to Fountainebleau, where the European campus of the school is.

He did call this morning to give us a brief description of his flight (turbulent), that he snoozed on and off and that after his arrival he had lunch. He then went to his room for a shower to try to wake up! He had missed half of the first day unexpectedly, but wan't too concerned.
Hopefully a good nights sleep will restore his vigour and he can better enjoy his days there.
On the home front, I have been talking with "The Upside of Downs" organization about their upcoming fundraiser and have committed myself to begging companies for donations. This is something I enjoy doing because it is almost like shopping without the bills. I'm sure this project will put a significant dent in my time, but it gets me out meeting new people.
Speaking of shopping, the annual trip south by the Canadian Olympic Shopping Team is scheduled and the girls are busy training for the spring event. It appears that the team has aquired a new member, Anne, this year. Remember, we still have those young legs of the junior team members Jenna and Jessie, backed by the experienced and more cash endowed senior team members Shelly, Jill, Susan, and Liana. The coaching staff is the solid combination of the leadership of Jane and Carolyn. This coaching combination has really paid off for the team in previous years. Now we will wait to see what new talents this rookie can bring to the squad.
