Woo Hoo! Check out Will in his new red cabriolet. He's quite the proud new owner and enjoys touring the house in it. Only in the reverse direction though. While he travels about taking in the scenery we say "back, back, back" hoping he'll discover a new word in the process. He can use all the options the car came equipped with. That would be the toot-toot horn. Mom and Dad were happy to discover this smaller version of a little car. Jack's old one is still too big for him and this is going to be a great way to exercise his legs without him discovering it's theraputic.
This car has been the highlight of Will's February as he has had to deal with pneumonia, a cold and today we discovered he has strep throat. You can see his sore runny nose in the picture. We don't wipe it until a large dollop forms that threatens the furniture or carpet, this is to save his poor, raw skin. Will doesn't always understand that he's supposed to be acting like he's sick though, because he usually maintains his cheerful demeanor. He doesn't even complain when it's medicine time.
Will has also been busy refining his hockey skills with his mini stick and little ball. He can raise his two little arms up and say "score!", but it sounds more like OOOOWA! He says this if he sees a hockey game, or a picture of Mitch on the ice. Maybe he thinks the game is called OOOWA.Just to keep everyone up to date, mom also had a concurrent bout of strep that she assumes was just diagnosed sooner. The latter half of the week was a write-off for her. Now that she's up and at 'em again, she's in that darn laundry room for the long haul. And speaking of long, daddy has a brand new pair of long underwear for the big trip to Plaster Rock. The countdown is on, only 4 more days until The World Pond Hockey Championships. I don't know how the guys are gonna play, but they are gonna look pretty spiffy. Mark just got a package last night from a Canadian team mate. I think they are sporting enough hockey bling to go to the olympics. I guess they can at least look intimidating.
