Here is a link to George Will's latest column about his son Jon. It addresses the latest push for all pregnant women to be screened for the possibility of their child having DS. It certainly is a hot issue, making women feel as if it is their duty to society.
I have previously commented on the irony of the pairing of cutting edge medical testing/screening and outdated information on the realities of DS. It's a lethal combination and something that needs to be addressed. Mr. Will does a good job.
