First Communion

This past Saturday was Jack's first communion. There were over 120 kids in the class this year. It was a beautiful day and we had visitors from Canada staying here for the big event. There was a downside though. We had to accommodate a house showing that butted right up to our relaxing post-communion luncheon. I had to rally the company to clean-up duty as soon as they finished off their piece of cake! A playpen had to be rolled away and a spare mattress went back into it's hiding spot. Luggage was stowed and everything was straightened up for the hour long showing. I was sad that we all had to go through this on Jack's big day. He didn't seem to mind too much. He and dad and Papa and Uncle went golfing. The ladies and small kids went shopping and Mitchell went over to a friends house. We reconvened in the later afternoon for some cool beverages and relaxing.

Will did great during the hour and a half long ceremony. The most misbehaved he got was when he insisted on continually rubbing mommy's pantyhosed legs. I don't think he had ever seen moms legs look so smooth or be tinged with a sheer black shade before.

Those pantyhose can be soft can't they?

Sorry that you had to squeeze the house showing in, but other than that, it looks like it was a beautiful day!
