Considering the contest we have going on, this seems very timely. I just found this today and LOVE it! It's an online art auction. A special one. Imagine 158 snowflakes. You all know that every single snowflake is a unique creation, but this is a delicious kind of unique. How about a snowflake painted by your favorite children's book illustrator?Robert's Snow: for Cancer's Cure ,is an annual online art auction to raise money for the Jimmy fund of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. These are the first flakes of this winter season, and how splendid they all are. It's a trip just to go over and admire the miniature detail of each one.

I think that this is an ingenious idea. The snowflake would be such an appropriate symbol for our kids with Down syndrome, too. It would be nice to use this idea to raise money for our community.
