Here you can just see the top of the big land mover too. Will likes that land mover.
This guy just about landed in our backyard. I had read once that if a balloon lands on your property you are supposed to serve them a champagne breakfast. I got all worried that the Rice Krispies and Smuckers jam wouldn't be fancy enough. Then I remembered that we had a mini backyard and he would have to have a two dimensional balloon to land it here. Whew. By lunch time the party started and we had a nice family bar-b-que. Then Will decided he would like to open his presents before the cake. We were good with that.
Here Will inspects a Little Einsteins video.
Here is a Thomas the Tank toothbrush, that plays the Thomas the Tank theme song for two minutes...the ADA recommended amount you are supposed to brush. Here, Will is listening intently to the song. All two minutes of it.
Will plays with the vacuum his sister gave him, with some prodding from me. If you saw my house you'd understand.
That brought us to cake time. That's a Thomas the Tank cake. We have a theme kind of going on here.
Will volunteers to cut the cake with his new Bob the Builder saw. I think we should have let him do it.
The cake passes the taste test. It had a custard filling that was very yummy. Will is still playing with his new presents and enjoying his special day.
Here is a special treat for you...Will blowing out his candles. We didn't mind the birthday-candle-blowing-spittle that coated the cake either.
